The meaning of a healthy food is a food that has a balance of nutrients, fiber and has a particular substance needed by the body for growth. Healthy foods to eat is a food that should have a good nutritional content. Many healthy foods to eat that can be consumed, and have a good nutritional content.

A healthy foods to eat should have nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, vitamins and a little unsaturated fat. Whether healthy foods to eat must be expensive? Not necessarily. A healthy food does not need to be expensive. In fact expensive food is not necessarily healthy. Some nutrients needed by our body are :

Carbohydrates are divided into severalmonosaccharide, disaccharide, poisakarida. Carbohydrate sources can be found in some foods such as rice, cassava, potatoes, maize.

Protein is a nutrient composed of amino acids and has an important role for the body. the function of the protein is as a source of energy or builder substances. also to build muscle in the body. Protein composed of hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen. protein can be found in fish, milk, meat, nuts, and egg white. Very much a function of the protein, depending on where the protein is located. Such as the joints and rods, protein serves to strengthen and nourish in the trunk. Then the genetic aspect, the protein serves to decrease the genetic information to succeeding generations. Protein source is divided into two, namely proteins obtained from animals and from plants. Metabolic system can be compromised if there is no protein. protein to form hemoglobin whose function is to bind oxygen and then distributed throughout the body.

Minerals can be found in fruits and vegetables, also contain mineral salts, namely sodium

Minerals are divided into 3 groups according to the amount required by the body, among other things:
Makromineral (Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, and Sulfur), Mikromineral (Iron, Zinc, Copper and Florida), Ultrace minerals are needed in very small amounts (Iodine, Selenium, Manganese, Kronium, Molibdenim, Baron and Cobalt)


4. Vitamin

Vitamin is an organic compound of small molecular weight amine, and has a vital function in the metabolism of the organism. Many of the benefits of vitamins for our bodies, such as to maintain stamina, increase vitality, protect the body against various diseases. People who lack vitamin will easily attacked by a disease. Vitamin based on their solubility in water is divided into two:  
-Vitamins are water-soluble: Vitamin B and Vitamin C. 
-Vitamins are not soluble in water: Vitamin A, D, E, and K (Adek)

When a food is digested by the body, vitamins are released will go into the bloodstream and circulate throughout the body. When not needed, the vitamins will be discarded body with urine. Because of this, the body needs water soluble vitamin intake continuously. Vitamins we can get from a variety of fruits fruits like soursop fruit, pineapple, guava, dragon fruit, pears, beets, carrots, tomatoes, avocado, papaya, apple, kiwi and also from a variety of vegetables.
